Blake - Class of 2017 {Littleton Senior Portraiture}

Capturing a high school seniors' portrait preserves a momentous time of growth, anticipation and transition.  I love getting to know each senior throughout their shoot, asking them about their college plans, what they want to study and what extracurricular activities they're into now and for their senior year.  Not only do we have a great time, but the best aspects of their personalities show through.

Blake was such a joy to work with.  He's a musician of multiple disciplines, headed to college out of state next year, working toward becoming a fire fighter.  We definitely connected over our experiences with high school marching band, both agreeing, it's hard work and very worth it!

I also enjoy letting the senior have a choice in background options.  As we explored the ins and outs of Downtown Littleton, I was open to anything he wanted to try.  I believe this gives the senior a great experience, letting them have a hand in the style of their photos.

Enjoy this fun set of senior photos with Blake!

Family Fun {Littleton Family Photography}

Being a photographer and being a mom can sometimes make it difficult to make an appearance in front of the camera.  Well since my newest son Tommy was born in March, I've been itching to have some photos taken of boys with their momma (me!)  Instead of stressing over the details, I decided to make a trip to the park turn into our personalized photo session, complete with a tripod, self-timer and an adorable assistant.

My son John is quite the budding assistant.  At only three years old, he helped me achieve these portraits and I couldn't be happier with the results.  I didn't want to worry about hair or makeup or if every hair on my child's head was in it's perfect place (haha, not usually with John!)  I wanted a formal-ish snapshot of what we look like day-to-day.  Enjoy this look into our little family, my heart wandering outside my body and the reason that I strive to be the best I can be!
