James & Amanda {Littleton Maternity Portraits}

These two are just too adorable.   I was so excited when they chose Sports Authority Field at Mile High for their maternity portraits.  How fun is that?!  For a Broncos fan family, this location just couldn't be beat.  This sweet family will be moving all the way to Florida after baby is born and they wanted a location that screams "Denver" and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

As an added bonus, there was the perfect graffiti wall right across from the stadium that provided an awesome pop of color.  I loved that this maternity session was tailored specifically for their style, giving them lasting memories of Denver and their fav football team.

Amanda even went above and beyond, gifting James and her 4 year old son Broncos tickets at the Buccaneers Stadium!  It was a priceless capture and I'm so happy I was clued in on the surprise :)

Enjoy these highlights from this custom styled maternity portrait session.  GO BRONCOS!

Martinez Family Portraits

Theses kiddos have a special place in my heart.  Their momma Heather and I have been friends since we were five years old and her kids are just a joy to photograph.  Kaiden and Jessica are Irish twins and are super close, as it shows in the photos!  Heather is one super momma, with three kiddos 5 years old and under, I truly admire her strength!  This happened to be a bit of a chilly fall afternoon, so we were limited as to what to do for photos of her youngest, Jayde.  Even still, Jayde managed to show off a little personality and just how much she looks like her momma!

This session is a perfect example of what we can capture together even if the weather turns sour.  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them! :)

Whitney & Charlie – A Space Gallery Wedding – October 9th, 2015

Having the privilege of documenting a bride’s special day is not a responsibility I take lightly.  In this case, I actually knew the bride from high school and this is the second former classmate that I was able to help out and be there for her big day.  So naturally when I heard she got engaged, I was SO excited for her!  We met up at Isabelle Farm in Lafayette for her engagement session and that was my first time meeting Charlie.  Talk about an adorable couple!  They brought along their dogs, Sophia and Huck and we played among the pumpkins, sunflowers and fall colors about a year before their big day.  These two complement each other in every way; needless to say, I was so very happy that Whitney found Charlie.  Here are a couple highlights from their engagement session:

Fast forward to their wedding- booked at the iconic Space Gallery in the art district off Santa Fe in Denver on October 9th, 2015.  I arrived early to get some prep shots and could tell that Whitney and Charlie put a lot of their hearts into this wedding.  Whitney was a masterful DIY bride, with beautiful handmade music sheet flowers that adorned the reception hall, cake, bouquets and boutonnieres.  Every detail was planned and special- even the laid back atmosphere after the ceremony.  Rather than go through many of the traditional formalities of a wedding, Whitney and Charlie opted to relax and just dance!  So enjoy the following photos that show just how awesome a DIY wedding can be, and how truly happy my friends are!
