I recently participated in a wonderful shootout where I was able to meet and photograph some of the sweetest people I've ever met. This particular shootout was a celebration of differences and I just had to take the opportunity to capture their beauty. This is the first of three of the children I had the pleasure of photographing at The Studio - Denver. Talk about a gorgeous work space!
So now I have the joy of introducing you to Miss Jillian. A note about Jillian from her loving mother:
Jillian is a smart, funny, loving and fiery 12 year old girl. She loves to dance, sing, read, play her violin, play Wii games, and text her friends. She is also quite possibly the most enthusiastic University of Kentucky basketball fan, and loves to cheer on her “Cats” with her family. Jillian has endured much challenge and struggle in her life and continues to live her life with grace and love. She amazes all those around her with her capacity to help manage her Type 1 Diabetes. Depending on the day, Jillian wants to be either a doctor, a spy, a teacher or a time traveler when she grows up!
I also was able to meet Miss Jillian's father and older sister during the shoot and wow, what a loving family. It's wonderful when a family's happiness shows through their interactions. Enjoy these portraits of Miss Jillian!
Ready to book your session? Awesome, I'm excited! I'd love to meet you and chat about your family over some coffee. We can bond over the ups and downs of parenthood, you're definitely not alone there! Stay connected with me for special events, offers and more!
About the Author: I'm Melanie Lynn, I love storytelling through photos and making new friends with my clients. I'm a mommy to two adorable boys and couldn't imagine life without them. My hubby is my biggest fan and supporter- just incredible! I enjoy making people laugh, playing with my kiddos, reading all sorts of novels and scrap-booking. I believe in preserving memories through photographs, for generations to come. I love to dream of what my great grandparents were like in their 20's raising my grandfather in southern Indiana. The photos I take of my children are a living memory for their children and their grandchildren.
